   The collectible gold coin of Austria with a face value of 100 euro "Vienna Secession" was issued on November 10, 2004. It is the first in the Vienna Art Nouveau series. Minted in the Austrian mint with a circulation of 30,000 coins.

   The obverse of the gold coin 100 euro depicts the exhibition pavilion of the Vienna Secession in Vienna - one of the most significant architectural monuments of Austrian Art Nouveau. Above the image is the country name "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH" and below is the year of issue "2004" and the face value of the coin "100 EURO."

   The reverse of the coin depicts a fragment of Gustav Klimt's painting "Beethoven's Frieze." On the left side there is the inscription "BEETHOVENFRIES."
