   The collectible gold coin of Austria with a face value of 100 euro "Crown of the Holy Roman Empire" was issued on November 5, 2008 and opens a series of coins "Crowns of the House of Habsburg." Minted in the Austrian mint with a circulation of 30,000 units.

   The obverse of the gold coin 100 euro depicts the Imperial Crown of the Holy Roman Empire. At the bottom of the coin in a semicircle is the inscription "KRONE DES HL ROMISCHEN REICHES" ("CROWN OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE"). Above the image is the country name "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH" the year of issue of the 2008 coin is indicated on the left, and the denomination "100 EURO" on the right.

   The reverse of the coin depicts Emperor Otto I against the background of St. Peter's Cathedral in Rome.
