Austria's collector's gold coin with a face value of 100 euro "Mesopotamia Gold" was issued on October 16, 2019 and opens a new Austrian series of Gold Magic coins.
The obverse of the gold coin 100 euro depicts the head of the New Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar II, as well as a statue of a winged lion located in the lower left part of the obverse. Over the image in a semicircle is the name of the country "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH" and on the left is the face value of the coin "100 EURO" and the year of issue "2019."
On the reverse of the coin against the background of the ornament is the head of a bull from a golden lira found in 1929 during excavations of the ancient city of Ur (the territory of modern Iraq).
