   Austria's collection coin from niobium with a face value of 25 euro "European satellite navigation" was issued on March 1, 2006. Minted in the Austrian mint with a circulation of 65,000 units.

   The obverse of the coin depicts a rose of winds with the geographical coordinates of the Austrian mint in Vienna. At the bottom of the central part is the year of issue of the 2006 coin, and on the outer silver ring is the name of the state "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH" and the denomination "25 EURO."

   The reverse of the coin depicts the globe with satellites rotating around it, as well as various vehicles using satellite navigation: ship, train, cars and aircraft. In addition, the inscription "EUROPÄISCHE SATELLITENNAVIGATION" is inscribed around the circle.
