   Austria's collection coin from niobium with a face value of 25 euro "Bionika " was issued on February 22, 2012. Minted in the Austrian mint with a circulation of 65,000 units.

   The obverse of the 25 Euro coin depicts a shell of a nautilus snail, an eagle soaring in the sky, an airplane, a lotus flower and a shark. The niobium part of the coin is denominated "25 EURO" and under it is the year of minting "2012." On the outer ring in a semicircle is the country name "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH."

   The reverse of the coin depicts the single-celled plankton organism of the radiolarium, as well as the Olympic Stadium in Munich. At the top is the inscription "BIONIK."
