   The collector's silver coin of Latvia with a face value of 5 euro "Baltic Way" was issued in 2014 with a circulation of 10,000 coins. Minted in the Dutch mint.

   The obverse  of the silver coin of Latvia depicts a scythe with three ribbons woven into it in the form of flags of three Baltic states - Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. To the right of the image is the denomination "5 euro" and at the bottom of the coin in a semicircle is the inscription "BALTIJAS CELS" ("BALTIC WAY"). and the years "1989" and "2014" are indicated. The reverse shows a tree trunk with roots, to the left of which is the inscription "ATMOSTAS BALTIJA" ("Awakening of the Baltic States"), and to the right are the names of the Baltic countries - "LIETUVA LATVIJA EESTI " ("Estonia" Latvia ").
