Coin "Zhuvintas Biosphere Reserve" 2 euro Lithuania

    A commemorative coin of 2 euro of Lithuania was issued on May 19, 2021 and is dedicated to the Juvintas Biosphere Reserve, located in the Alytus region of Lithuania. The coin was minted by the Lithuanian mint with a total circulation of 500,000 units.

   The obverse of the commemorative coin depicts the plant and animal of the world of the Zhuvintas reserve. Above the image is the name of the country "LIETUVA" and in the lower part there are inscriptions "ŽUVINTAS" and "UNESCO" next to which is the sign of the Lithuanian Mint and the year of coinage "2021." On the outer ring - 12 stars of the European Union.
