Euro coins of Lithuania

The euro has been the official currency of Lithuania since 2015, after the country joined the euro zone on January 1, 2015.

The obverse of all the coins of the euro of Lithuania of regular minting depicts the coat of arms of this country - the equestrian rider "Vitis." The only difference is that coins of 1 and 2 euro have vertical lines on the outer ring, and on coins of 10, 20 and 50 Euro cents the lines are located horizontally, while on 1, 2 and 5 Eurocent coins there are no lines at all.

At the beginning of 2020, Lithuania issued 8 commemorative euro coins, as well as 34 collectible coins.
