The obverse of the 1 euro coin depicts the rider "Vitis" symbolizing the coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania. At the bottom of the coin is the inscription "LIETUVA" and the sign of the Lithuanian Mint is applied. The year of issue of the coin is indicated on top.
