Tarshien Temple Complex coin, 2 euro Malta

    Malta's commemorative coin with a face value of 2 euro "Tarshien Temple Complex" was issued on October 26, 2021 with a total circulation of 170,000 units. The coin is the sixth in a series dedicated to the prehistoric temples of Malta.

   The obverse of the commemorative coin 2 euro depicts the ruins of the Tarshiensky temple complex. Also at the bottom of the coin is an ancient altar located in the southwestern part of the temple. Next to it is the name of the country "MALTA" and the year of issue of the coin "2021." At the top of the obverse, the inscription "TARXIEN TEMPLATES 3600 - 2500 BC" is inscribed in three lines. 12 stars of the European Union are located around the circle.
