Coin "Portuguese-speaking Games 2009" 2 euro Portugal

    Portugal's commemorative coin "Portuguese-speaking Games 2009" with a face value of 2 euro was issued in 2009 with a circulation of 1.25 million coins.

   The obverse of the commemorative coin depicts the emblem of the second Games of Portuguese-speaking countries. Above the image is the coat of arms of Portugal, and at the bottom of the coin there is the inscription "2.os JOGOS DA LUSOFONIA LISBOA." To the left of this inscription is the sign of the Mint of Portugal (INCM), and to the right is the artist's sign (J. AURÉLIO). 12 stars of the European Union are placed around the circle.
