Coin "20 years since the beginning of the Velvet Revolution" 2 euro Slovakia

    A commemorative coin of Slovakia "20 years since the beginning of the Velvet Revolution" with a face value of 2 euro was issued in 2009 with a circulation of 1 million coins.

   The obverse of the commemorative coin shows a ringing bell with a key instead of a language - a symbol of peaceful protest. Above the image in a semicircle is engraved the inscription "17. NOVEMBER SLOBODA - DEMOKRACIA "(" NOVEMBER 17, FREEDOM - DEMOCRACY ") and indicated the year" 1989-2009. " Below is the name of the country "SLOVENSKO" and the signs of the Slovak mint and the artist's logo. On the outer ring are 12 stars of the European Union.
