Coin "Emona - Ljubljana" 2 euro Slovenia

    The jubilee coin 2 euro of Slovenia "Emona - Ljubljana" was issued in November 2015 and is dedicated to the Roman settlement of Emona, located on the site of modern Ljubljana. Minting was carried out at the Slovak Mint in Kremnica . The circulation amounted to 1 million coins.

   On the obverse of the commemorative coin 2 euro is the inscription "EMONA" or "AEMONA" as well as a stylized plan of an ancient settlement. Around the image is EMONA LJUBLJANA SLOVENIJA and the year 2015 is indicated. On the outer ring are 12 stars of the European Union.
